Safety First Professional Driver Training was established in 2008 and created from the realization that the Fort St. John/North Peace region needed a high quality Class 1 driver training facility that recognized the particular challenges of commercial transport operation in the North.
As we expanded, our clients asked for our customer service and high quality training in other classes. We expanded into new driver training (class 5/7 and GLP,) airbrake courses, bus and taxi training, driver evaluations and defensive driving courses.
We are trained to ICBC standards, licenced under the Motor Vehicle Act, and take these standards seriously. We aim to provide our students with the skills, safety, and knowledge required to operate both commercial and passenger vehicles beyond what is usually observed today. ​​
